Jets Holmes Jersey, The Jets\' game against the Panthers this past Saturday night was a harsh reminder to all that while Mark Sanchez may have improved during the off-season, he has a long way to go before becoming the main cog of the Jets\' offense.
If the Jets win in 2010, it will be because of their defense. You don\'t need an expert to tell you that. Gang Green\'s D has the ability to dominate just about any offense. They blitz, and create chaos, and basically aim to make the quarterback look more awkward and confused than Keanu Reeves did while playing Shane Falco in \"The Replacements.\"
The offense\'s contribution will still have to come mostly from their rushing attack. The combination of Shonn Greene, a rejuvenated LaDainian Tomlinson, and one of the best offensive lines in football should help the Jets control the ball and add to the effectiveness of their defense.
This isn\'t to say the Jets won\'t need to throw the ball. This is the NFL for crying out loud. You have to throw the ball with success at some point if you want to win the Super Bowl (And the Jets have every expectation of celebrating in Dallas come next February). This Jets Holmes Jersey doesn\'t mean that they should hand the reigns over to Sanchez so easily and start slinging the ball all over the field, though.
Yes, the Jets did add some new weapons to their passing attack - Most notably Santonio Holmes, who despite being a Super Bowl MVP has really flown under the radar as one of the best receivers in the game. But New York must be wary of not allowing Sanchez to negate the work of the defense with bad turnovers caused by forcing the ball and looking for the big play too often (Something he has been prone to do at his early age). By and large, the Jets won\'t have Jets Holmes Jersey to rely on big plays on offense to win.
Again, you need to throw the ball in the NFL. But Sanchez is NOT ready to be given the responsibility of throwing more than 30 times a game if the Jets have any shot of making it to Dallas at the end of the year. No doubt, Sanchez will be much improved Jets Holmes Jersey from a season ago. No doubt he will make a few more plays. And no doubt he has more weapons to take advantage of. Yet the Jets must keep in mind that Sanchez IS NOT Peyton Manning. He isn\'t Tom Brady. He isn\'t Drew Brees, Brett Favre, Philip Rivers, or Aaron Rodgers. At this point, he isn\'t even Kyle Orton. He\'s a second year quarterback with above average talent and little experience.
